Monitors. How to mount, and where??

  1. Well the subject pretty much nails the question down.

I have a pair of Yamaha monitors Im going to be using with my 788. Right now Im just useing a kitchen table for the 788 and headphones.

What is something cheap or simple to use for stands or mounts for the speakers. Also how far apart should the speakers be spaced from me the listener or from each other(speakers).

    Thanx!!

The speakers shold be a distance, from the listener, that is equal to the distance between the 2 speakers. Otherwise, a perfect triangle. At least, that's what I've been told. Seems to work well.

There are speaker stands and such available, but you can probably just make something yourself. I built an elevated shelf that holds my screen and monitors. I just put a couple of mousepads under the speakers so they don't rattle the shelf/desk.
