I'm looking for alternatives to Moog Taurus pedals. Any opinions, experiences with other products would be appreciated.

You can get Roland PK-5/6 midi pedals and do some research to find alot of different sound generators to emulate those tones. Moog has the Minotaur too.

Very frequently asked question. A quick search will get you tons of reading on this topic, and plenty of answers. Bottom line, there ARE alternatives, but nothing will sound like a Moog, but a Moog. Minitaur with the PK5 pedals is as close, (and cheap), as you'll get.

    Yes, there are alternatives.

Nothing else is in the league of a T1 or T3.

Soundwise, which is "better": the T1 or T3? I don't know.

The features of the T3 blow the T1 away.

You do get what you pay for. Way better investment than a P-bass, will be easy to sell, probably for a lot more money in the coming years.

A person is lucky f they get what they pay for nowadays.

The T-3 is a rare chance to do that. Legend. For a reason.
