I've been moving towards overdrive in preamps and have Christmas bills. So if you're looking to indulge your exotic fuzz cravings this replica of a Tycobrahe Octavia is going for a steal at $180 (American $200 Canadian). You usually see this pedal go for $100 more and it's a literal piece of art to have on your pedal board. A slight octave above and works amazingly well with bass tracking unlike a lot of other octah fuzzes which can really thin out your bass (can also be used on guitar if you're into that thing). Simple 2 knobs with variation and character throughout all gain settings (even with your line booster). Very quiet operation and oozes character. It even has a transformer for consistently loading between different basses!
I really don't have a need for a wood neck. I am looking for a graphite neck to fit a stingray if you know of one.
