just got pics from George F of the fretless bn5 i am having made for myself.
I went dark on this one, with a ceruse finish and a dimaondwood board with black lines. It will have a black metal bridge for adjustability and standard BN5 shape- i always knew i wanted a ceruse somewhere in the arsenal

  2. Looks killer. I really love the cerusé finish on the F basses. That is what I would have wanted on my BN-6, but the natural was just too good of a price to pass up.

Can't wait to see it completed!

Very nice--I've got Dymondwood (Rockwood) as fretboards on three of my Curbows, and my 6 string fretless has the black rockwood fretlines on the black fretboard. I love the look!
The lines are visible enough to get you out of trouble, but not to the point of distraction.

I can't wait to see that bass when it's done.

That looks fantastic, Adrian. I'm very much in the mood to get another F. I can't wait to hear how this one sounds with the diamondwood and George's preamp.

    AG,
Oh man, that thing is so sleek it looks like it belongs in a jungle stalking prey!
That's gonna be one sexy bass, and I'm sure it will sound as great as it looks. Cool choice with the color scheme. I'll bee real interested to see how it turns out.

    Wowie, Adrian! you copy cat.:)

I so love George's ceruse finish. With the shape of the body it just looks so sexy. It still is, by far, my favorite finish.
