More Info on a vintage fender

  1. I was down at Bill's Music in Catonsville today, looking through their beautiful (and expensive) basses in a glass case. There was this one bass that caught my eye, so I got it out an played it. It had a beautiful sound to it and I now wish to try to find out a bit more about it.
    The Specs were:
    *Fender P-Bass Elite
*three knobs seperated by two switches 0|0|0
    *Coffee brown semi-transparent finish
    *Rosewood fretboard
    *walnut neck and body
*two split coil pickups, both white
*Looked to be somewhere between 15 and 30 years old.
What do you fellow TBers know about it?
