I think that's rather cool! No excuses, just a really functional piece of gear (or is it? I wonder if the frets actually represent notes? perhaps that's why he mentions slide). I'd rather play that than a Wish-I-was-a-bass though! :D

Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
For some reason I feel that may have belonged to the guy from Local H.

  4. Its kinda cool...but a little scary at the same time.
It looks really grungy and there's a blood stain on the back..sorta like it killed its creator and now wanders the earth searching for love and affection...hey.. I could write a story with that!

They arent that obscure, theyve had a few hits, and Im pretty sure most of my friends will know who they are right away.

Anyways, I think its pretty cool.

    Peace

  7. Nope. Scott's guitars have half of a Precision pickup under the E and A strings.

Hey this is a cool idea, I think the guy was aming for a baritone guitar (6 string vintage Fender) or something like that, I doubt that he implied someone to play it as an actual 6 string bass:rolleyes: after all 1 guitar less in the world and 1 more bass:D

Local H actually came to my college in September, which is really wierd because my college is in the middle of nowhere (Michigan's Upper Peninsula).

It was actually one of the better shows I've been to in a while.

  11. C'mon, even a guitar doesn't need that kind of torture. Mucho yuck. I snoot in its general direction.

  12. My theory on this thing is, someone had a Strat or a copy thereof and trashed the neck. They needed a replacement neck and found the old bass in someone's attic/garage/basement. What happened beyond that is anyone's guess!

  13. I love that red paint stain on the back..

  14. Scott's guitar is an Ibanez Telecaster copy I think. Unless its a real Tele. Neat idea with the setup he has.
