OK, things are looking up on the Sadowsky front. Kevin sent me some pics of the koa-topped 5-24 bodies waiting to be finished, and this one popped up. It looks like it's the next slice of the log that #4268 came out of. I went ahead and ordered it, so I should have it in a few months. It'll have an ebony board with abalone dots, vintage electronics and, yes, the fabulous gold hardware.

    Now the wait.

  2. That is such a gorgeous chunk of Koa. I cannot wait to see the finished product.

I don't like exotic tops on my basses but I love to look at them and this is one of the nicest tops I've ever seen. My third favorite wood after spalted maple and a nice piece of ash.

    keep groooovin'

Nino , You dog, you probobly played mine too, Metro Namm 3 of 10 RV5. It must be fun to play everybodys dreams before you ship them out! But If I had that job I'd last about 3 mounths and then I'd declare bankruptcy. The good news would be that the local county sheriff would have one heck of a repossed bass auction! Congrats Munji, can't wait to see the finnished product.
