just added the 212. This one has the whole player control settings on the back unlike the 410/115. I also got the Mesa Slip cover with it as well. Now I really just need to upgrade my amp. Not sure what configuration I'll end up running full time but I'm very happy to finally be able to choose between several worthy cabs I have just a hair over a grand invested in all 3 of them EDIT: also want to add that the mesa 412 guitar cab is also mine, haha.
Pretty sweet collection. Now, you just need an M6 Carbine to power a couple of them. Btw, it seems the new trend is to pair a 410 on top of a 212. Try that out.
That's what I was thinking of going with. I didn't really want the 115, but it was local, cheap and I didn't have the 212 yet so I picked it up. Not sure what amp I'm going to use to power everything, but I'm definitely going lightweight, already enough weight to haul around with whichever 2 cabs I choose.
Sounds like some great scores, and a nice selection of cabs - here's what I've been gigging through for awhile: By georgestrings, shot with ViviCam at 2009-05-09
The 410 came from ebay. I would just search "mesa" and click closest by distance and read through everything. Took a while to find it but I was in no hurry. Came from knoxville, which is about 4 hours away, and he drove an hour. Then the 115 came from here, the guy just happened to be in lexington which is only about an hour. The 212 came from Craigslist, also in lexington, I was up there and stopped by and picked itup.
It's atually a Peavey Supreme 160 I got used at Music-Go-Round. The Craftsman logo was already on there when I picked it up. Confused me as well, I actually went home to do some research on it. It's suppose to have the Peavey emblem on there, not sure if the previous owner lost it, or didn't like it or maybe it wasn't on there when he got it either.
