Morley Volume pedal

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Jon R, Feb 5, 2004.

  1. I just picked up a Morley "Little Alligator" volume dedal and it seems to be thinning out my sound. That full, voice-of-god tone was gone. Is this normal for this pedal? Are there better volume pedals for bass? Or should I just pull my head out of my a$$ and forget the volume pedal altogether?

    Thanks

How much more volume are we talking about? Solos? Functional? In Your Face Parts?

I use the Morley Little Alligator, and I have not experienced any signal loss at all. Are you using a battery or the Ac adapter, cause maybe your battery is low if your using one. Also what about your cables ? I use only Monster Bass cables.
Or it is possible the unit is defective, did you buy it new or used ? Mine works great I set it with stage volume, and then
I can go up from there as the Guitar player gets louder, or the
drummer is getting out of control. (no that never happens)
