I'm not sure I want to sell or trade this, but want to put out the feelers.

It's a very light, modern sounding bass. I bought it from someone a few years back. At that point it had EMG's and a bad nut. I hated the EMG's and replaced them with Barts and a Bart NTMB preamp. I also had a new nut cut and have loved the sound ever since. It's got a surprisingly warm sound for a graphite neck and sounds esp. good when played with a pick.

The neck is a moses jazz neck and the body is a dinky j warmoth.

It has been oiled and though it is in good shape, could use another oiling sometime in the future.

Anyway, shoot me an e-mail if you are interested.

How much would you take for it? I have been looking for something similar for a while now. It is a very sharp looking bass. 2 or 3 band eq? Sorry, don't have anything to trade.

    Guys,

Sorry if this is frustrating... I put a lot of work into getting this bass just right. I'm still not sure if it's right for me, but it's the best it can be. I bought it for around $600, but ended up replacing the pickups and pre, getting a new nut, giving it new flats, and having a thorough setup performed on it. That said, I'm not sure what the real monetary value is, that's why I'd rather just get a similarly loved bass in trade. That's why I don't want to give a price.
