I had to share this here with you.
I was listening to this video of Jose James and I had this only on audio because I minimized the window while I was working on something else and then the bass solo started and I had to open the window to see this. I think he's using a chorus and it just sounds soooooo amazing. It gives you the reminescence of a fretless bass, so subtle... I love it.
How do you think will be the best way to reproduce this?

Received a gift from Sire* (see sig)
fairly fast LFO rate, medium depth, doesn't sound like a sine wave LFO, maybe triangle (gets a bit pitch-shifty around the corners, which I don't care for so much).

    Try an Anadime Bass Chorus.

That pitchy is what gives that fretless feeling to me. I kind of like it because of it. But I'll try with those settings to see what I can get. Thanks.

I'm well served of chorus, fortunately, but that one sounds really good.

Its not the chorus that made his solo sound so good. But that sounds so CE-3... Very 80's type sound.

not a big fan of this tone honestly
his bass is a bit buzzy. Too much top end for my taste too. i prefer less overt chorusing too. Groovy playing though
