"Standin' on Shaky Ground"

I think it's Delbert McClinton. This is the kind of infectious groove that spreads diseases. You can't get it out of your head, no matter how hard you try.

  6. The song "Santa Fe" on the Swedish version of the musical "Rent". The bassists tone and playing sounds much better than the Broadway(?) version.

Just heard it today on the classic rock station. I've heard the song for 23 years and never really noticed the incredibly simple yet very upbeat and catchy bass line that carries the whole song. Now that I play one, it really stands out. "The Long Run" by the Eagles. 1979.
