Hey, I have one of those. The action is killer, and the tone is so versitile that it sounds like any other bass that's on my CD player at that time. It doesn't weigh anything, and I can play any and I mean any bass lick ever invented. It usually has 6 strings but also can be modified to be a 4 or a 5.

I only use that bass when I'm playing in front of arena crouds. On those gigs, I'm the lead singer too. I even smash it at the end of every gig.

It has no name on the headstock and no serial number, but I call it my Airbass. :bassist: :meh:

Nice pics too. I like the way he shows off the grain [alcohol].
  16. I bet he meant Vermouth ... Vermouth's not much of a luthier, but makes great drinks though... (damn, I'm funny) Well, 250 bucks for an Alembic and a little Vermouth isn't too much, is it? :D What a bargain...:D
No, really, why to bid on eBay if you have nothing to sell? Or this guy just new to computers? Was he trying to say "an Alembic bass with a P/J configuration and a Warmoth replacement part" in the Me-Tarzan-You-Jane -language....?!

Wow, he actually filled out the auction. Kinda scary. I wouldn't buy it with someone elses money.
