    My vote is the haunting voice of a Cello...

    When I grow up, I may learn how to play Cello...

    I always think of the guy playing the Violin at a fancy Italian restaurant....

    ...as apposed to the Mariachi's at cheap Mexican joint ;)

    Indeed The Bonzo Dog Band did "Tubas In The Moonlight", but that was a spoof.

    IMO, nothing beats the mandolin for romanticism.
