I'm sitting here thinking how some of our very own members are some of the most thoughtful people around....In my experience, the follow people are truly thoughtful and great people who have helped me in many ways (these are not in any particular order, also, please forgive me if I left anyone out):

    Gard
    Major Metal
    Michael Jewels
    Thor
    Secretdonkey
    Jive1
    Digme

Do you have any people who have changed or helped you in a positive way? If so, please post to give thanks!

    :)

Whafrodamus drove me down to the NYC gtg, tahts a huge favor. he did bunk at my house for 2 nights but that was my pleasure.

I think nino valenti kicks booty for doing the whole Valenti basses thing. If i was in the mood for a fender style instrment id get one from him. I actually was jonesing for a seafoam green jazz with sadowsky electronics , but no longer really.

gard's pretty thoughtful for not making fun of people nearly four years after they made a mistake or two.

WillPlay4Food lent me a preamp to try out for a few weeks, and also drove from East Hartford to pick me up (45 minutes out of the way) and drive me to the NY GTG and back. Can't get much nicer than that.

Lots of great guys on the board. Brad Johnson has answered lots of questions I've had in PMs, Michael Jewels and Funkster hosted some GTGs- Mike and his friends even fed us (I'm dyin' for more Polish sausage on sauerkraut!).

  13. One time stephdawe04 flew me half way around the world in her vegetable oil rocket ship just so I could be home in time for Christmas.

I mean, my house was on her way to that skin care awareness seminar she was talking at, but it was still pretty nice of her.

    We're BFF now. :smug:

  15. Bassmanbob, Gard, Tim Cole, and Bigbeefdog were all very supportive in the weeks following Katrina. Thanks, again gentlemen. Not to mention the fact that Joshua shares my affinity for Cannonball Run.

I'd hate to leave anyone out but:

    Tom Bowlus
    Mike Dimin
Ed Fuqua - not directly but I awlays enjoy his posts
    Gard
Munibunga - most entertaining posts and a very dry wit it would seem.

  20. I'll have to compile a more thorough list soon but one that I must say now is JimK. He's been incredibly thoughtful and helpful in the pursuit to further my music in alot of ways and for that I'm very thankful.
