Motif for my Erg....

    I'm really into some sort of motif for my basses. My De Armond has Smilies all over it, the Squire is painted up like an American Flag, and the GSR205 was painted in car overtones.

    My question, what sort of motif should I put on an Ergodyne EDC705? I have a beer strap that can go with it, but I still don't have any good idea. I'm up for suggestions.

    (Damn scanner, otherwise I could get pics for you guys.:mad: )

    Remember that your EDC is made of luthite and not wood. So you would have to paint it over the paint that is already there.

    Uhmm, since the bass is High-tech (Luthite , LOL) why dont you paint it with some Start Trek or Star Wars stuff?
    After all , the shape is very cool and happens to be like a spaceship.

    :)

    I just got an Idea.. paint it like Falcon Millenium!

    I like it!! Maybe something more towards a fighter, like an X-wing or TIE fighter. Cool idea.

    It would look really cool.
    And actually you could paint behind the neck and headstock so you really get a very "starship" effect.

    (Alien 1 comes to mind... )
