MP3. Let's hear your RBX 260 (fretless or not, stock or modified)

  1. Hello,

Even if I have some "high end" basses, like Warwick or Pedulla, I still love my little Yamaha RBX 260 fretless. I bought it to wait for my Marleaux, being built at the moment, but I think I will keep it, because of its weight, it very good neck, and its TONE.

I know many guys modify it, and I wonder how it sounds with all those Di-Marzio Split-P, those, BadAss bridges and whatever ...

If some of you have mp3s of their beloved Yammie, post them hear.

I send here a first small sample of my RBX 260 fretless, completely stock, without effects ...

HEY! Another RXB 260 owner! Mine is fretted though. I played a fretless version at a local guitar shop I was like, "Hey my bass... minus 24 frets!". I agree, cool bass, especially for the price. I'll never get rid of my RXB 260, it's my baby. :)

P.S. I'm working on getting a MP3 on MP3.com... it'll be up eventually, I'll post it here. I have alright tone on it, but it could have been EQed better. I did it on my computer real cheap o style.
  3. To post mp3 I think it's easier to create an account on a current web provider. I tried once on MP3.com and it took years ... I created this account this afternoon (in France it's the afternoon!) in 10 minutes, not 10 days!
