    Hi all

This may not be the best place to ask this...but it was the best I could think of.

Stupid Matt mentioned an MP3 program that will slow down an MP3 while maintaining its pitch. Do any of you have any suggestions on a specific program that you've found works well for this?

I can see this being a tremendous help in my learning curve/ear training.

    Thanks-so much!

I use Transcribe! which can do that and a whole bunch of other tricks. It's shareware and gives you a month to evaluate it (with all features available) - after my first month I had no hesitation in splashing out the cash and I think it's proved to be a very worthwhile investment.

There are even plugins for winamp that can do this.

Transcribe! is without doubt the best solution. You're not just able to slow down and maintain pitch. You can even raise pitch up to two octaves while slowing down the speed 8 times.
