Helleaux my fellow bottomnoters! Just got back from Florida. Spent a week at a resort in Daytona Beach Shores, and took the little sequal to Disneyworld. Anyway, I was just thumbing through the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and noticed James Hetfield's tattoo. It's a blue oval shape, like the Ford Motor Corp. logo, and it has the word "Faith" inside of it, written in script like the word "Ford". Isn't he the same guy that's trying to sue everyone of they do or say ANYTHING remotely resembling Metallica?! How can he act this way, but have a tatt the looks like Ford Motor Corp.'s logo. If someone had a tattoo that resembled the Metallica logo, he'd be suing them! I just find this to be hypocritical.

hmm.....interesting.....but I believe it's mainly lars who does all the complaining and getting people sued. Of course, it is still hypocritical.

Disney world sucks so much booty.

Well, their Magic Kingdom does, any ways. Epcot and MGM Studios own.

Disnleyland's Magic Kingdom is so much more cooler than Disneyworlds.

    (Thats right, bad grammar!)

I believe that's legal. It's legal to make parodies of songs without the original artist's permission and I see parody t-shirts and stuff all the time that make other words out of popular logos. I think this is protected under long as he doesn't use the exact Ford logo that actually says "Ford." It's not like he's out there selling phony Ford merchandise or something.

BTW...I've seen t-shirts and stuff that say other words but are definitely a play on the Metallica logo. I don't think there were any lawsuits there either.

It's from the term, "The pot calling the kettle 'black'." Meaning that you're accusing someone of doing the things that you do.

It doesn't really seem that hypocritical, unless his arm is for sale.

    Don't believe him - it's a drug reference!! ;)

You know what "pot" is and "black"....shout "kettle" at your local dealer and see what he/she says!

My guess is he'd give me an arm with a mock Ford logo on it.
