Hello! Anyone ever heard of a Mr. Potato Amp? Can't find anything anywhere on it! I've opened up a small Music shop and a gal wants me to sell it for her. Needing a approximate value if anyone has any ideas. Thank you!

    17 bucks

What's the best Potato for Metal

  5. Might be a thing where some manufacturer built a generic amp and the stores put there own name on them?

Thank you everyone! Really helps the girl out! Here’s a picture of this Mr. potato amp. The tweed is plastic, not the real deal. Measures 16” x 16”. I priced it at 40 bucks? Maybe someone will want it.

Seems like a export amp. That few manufacturers have Re Branded

It's not a Valco but similar circumstances where many company's rebranded them

So far I've seen this amp rebranded as

    Aria Pro ATG45R
    Epiphone ATG45R
    Mr Potato ATG45R

no endorsements yet...Are you listening Spector, DR, GK, Line6?
Honestly...and respectfully, I wouldn't touch it. Unless you get a real beginner or someone just looking to bring a toy home, its gonna take up shelf space for a bunch of time that you could use for something that may turn a higher profit. Just my humble opinion.
    Rock on.

I don't know point of origin

The Epiphone model is apparently not available in the states.

It's a practice amp, I'm sure nobody here will have positive things to say.

But it apparently has a 10" speaker so got little more oppphhh than typical 6" or 8" models.

The Mr Potato version has to be worth more lol. I'm wondering who would be silly enough to call their company that. The comical aspect of it is hilarious

As shop owner id pay about 15 for it and resale be 25 to 30. My first offer at 17 was being generous lol. The aria version sold for 25 where I stole the picture from

I owned a Mr. Potato bass or two when I was stationed in Korea. That's his logo on the amp. Nice guy with a small shop. His items were budget priced with decent playability.

    As for value...see above.

What a weird name for it. If that exterior is made of plastic, you fooled me :)

$40 for a practice amp that works sounds like a fair deal to me.

If you search Google for ATG45R (the model number) it brings up that amp with several different names. The Epiphone above is one of them and also under the Aria Pro name as well as others. I would say not worth much.
