    I have been reluctant to follow through with selling this because it is a truly great bass that sounds as good as it looks. However, I play mostly four and I need to keep the more traditional of my two fretted fives. Thus, here it is:

    MTD 535
    Spalted maple top on Northern Ash body
    Wenge neck and fingerboard
    9.8 lbs
    Original MTD hardshell case
    21 frets
    Excellent condition with original paperwork

    I will be more than happy to take pics but this bass was previously listed on talkbass and the pics perfectly represent the bass's current condition and there is no way I could take pics this well.

    This used to be mine. I've had two MTD's that stood out from the 6 or so I've owned, and this is one of them. Killer tone.

    It is a great representation of Mike's amazing work. The wenge neck and board combined with the northern ash give it the signature MTD sound.
