This bass sounds absolutely amazing. The bass has a very nice growl and bite and can also be dialed to be smooth and big. The pistachio is sonically similar to ebony, but without the compression which translates to a wide open low end, even mids, with a sweet high end. The fundamental of the note is very prominent as well without the interference of harmonic overtones and such. I just set the action and it plays like an MTD, easy and fast. It's currently strung with Dean Markley SR2000's.

Horrible audio clip to give people a vague idea of what it sounds like. Sorry I don't have recording gear!

This bass would have retailed for around $7700 plus shipping, plus a 5-8 month wait time
Selling for $4000 plus shipping FIRM

I'm only accepting checks and money orders on this one or cash if you are local.

  11. MTD's are all 35 inch scale unless they are customized otherwise. The "35" in the "635" indicates the scale length.

That's a sick looking bass! Bump!
  16. I might add that this bass is virtually UNPLAYED. If you're looking for a mint MTD with unique upgrades, then this is your bass
  17. added additional pictures in the link in OP.
  18. one of the best MTD wood combos out there and with a World logo! Bump.
  19. my #1 bass is ambonya burl as well.

it is an elite club that gets to play on such a fine piece of lumber.

is that really what they charge- as much as $1500 for the top alone?
