    For sale is an awesome looking, awesome sounding MTD Andrew Gouche Signature Series 5 string. The tonal palette of this bass is amazing. It is 100% stock and absolutely spotless just as the day it was made, except for the new Fodera strings.

    It is an active bass with a 9v system. It has a zero fret (which will be a prerequisite for me from now on) and the intonation is spot on. It is a 35" set up, giving the B a low, yet tight dirty growl. The action is set very low and it plays like a dream.

    It will come delivered in the Gator case shown in the photos for $1600.00, shipping included for the lower 48 states. Feel free to ask questions via PM.

    This is for sale ONLY, unless you have a Tom Kennedy Fodera that you want to trade straight up. Otherwise, don't bother...

    What is the actual weight of this bass, if you please?

    Sorry for the delay. There was a death in the family.

    I would go along with the literature I included, saying the weight is 8.7 lbs. Not having a tool more reliable than the bathroom scale, it looked to be a bit shy of 9 lbs., so I'm guessing the manufacturer to be pretty accurate in their documentation.
