Here's my MTD Kingston 5. The previous owner had an EMG 9 volt 2 band preamp professionally installed. This thing plays like a dream and sounds super-punchy with the EMG.

It's in great shape, with minor player wear, and a couple of minor dings, but the dang things are impossible to photograph.

    I'll take $325 plus shipping.

Looks very nice - how's the neck feel?

It plays really fast. nice and straight, and fairly thin front-to-back.

I have this same bass with a bart pickup and preamp in it, and I can say that the construction of these basses, the neck, the fretwork, etc is top notch. The cheap part of these basses are their lack of a good preamp in my opinion, the construction is way above the price. The neck on these, like the seller said, is pretty thin front to back. Not pedulla thin, but definitely that modern, "wide and flat" feel. The fingerboard is pretty flat with a wide radius. It's different at first, but it is very comfortable once you get used to it. Here's a free bump for a bass that's worth way more than its price.

What's the string spacing on these basses?

Is it just a master volume and a stacked bass/treble?

yep, volume and b/t stack. I believe the string spacing is 19mm at the bridge...

Please don't forget to delete your prior bumps. I just cleaned up a pair of obsolete ones, but it's up to you to do it. Thanks.
