MTD KINGSTON KZ 5 or SCHECTER RIOT 5

    What bass would you get between the two? Both basses about the same price.

    I've never played the Riot, but I have played several Schecters. They've always felt better to me than any of the foreign made MTD's.

    I wanna say MTD but Schecter has the budget bass market cornered, IME/IMO.

    A KZ5! Well, only because thats the only bass I would still buy.

    thanx. one to one. haven't had the chance to try either bass want to try a fiver might just bit the bullrt and go with a boutique. kinda dig the Roscoes.

    the schecter that im considering is a 2009 model. i guess they dont make them anymore and are a better bass than the present riot 5. been listening to some clips of both basses and the mtd seems to sound better. tighter and not so rattly as the schecter.

    just trying to like the pumpkin color on the mtd. seems it only comes in that color in a lefty.
