Need help on which bass to buy.
Which in your opinion is the better bass(i play mostly jazz)

    MTD kingston 5 maple fretboard
    Ibanez BTB 515
  2. For jazz I would vote neither, between the 2 I would vote Kingston because I think its a great bass for the price.
  3. Ibanez would definetly not be a jazz bass. Go for the kingston, but that maple fingerboard isn't going to be better for jazz IMO. Anyway, the Kingston is a far better bass all around.

  5. Adrian at Access Bass has a fretless Kingston 5 with an ebony board. That should give a good jazz sound, but I don't know if you'd want fretless.

E-mail Adrian for the discounted price (regulary $629) if you are interested.
