Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by wotnwhy, Mar 18, 2004.

  1. i was hoping if someone could help me. i'm having a custom bass made and i want the neck to be the same as my MTD kingston. i know the neck is asymetric. but the guy wants to know the specs (depth and 1st and 12th fret, width etc.). i've checked out the MTD site but theres no info available.

    any one know?

if you have a kingston why don't you just measure it yourself?

  4. i can mesure things like nut width, but i have no devices that can mesure the depth of the neck. and i have no idea where to begin to find out the radius of the neck, mainly because i don't know what it is.

Why not post in the "Luthier's Corner" forum and ask Mr. Tobias? ;)
