  1. Hey all,
Just wondering oif anyone knew the differences between-
    -MTD Grendel
    -MTD Kingston
    -MTD Saratoga
I've been looking at getting one of these, especially the Saratoga, but if someone could tell me some info about where they were made, and the differences between them, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Kingston is made in korea.

Saratoga is USA, not sure about Grendel.

I have a kingston fretless and it is a very great bass for the price.

The Grendel and Beast were made in the Czech republic. Both are great basses. When production was moved to Korea, the Kingston, Heir and Saratoga were intorduced. The Grendel and the Saratoga are very similar. Production made, overseas, with US parts (bartolini pickups and preamp), hipshot bridge and tuners
