does anyone else think that Mike has the coolest soft shell cases?!? :bassist:

i recently had a chance to finally see one, and i was very impressed. not only lighter weight than the usual Mooridian soft shell rectangular case, but a bit more compact, and easier to carry around. also, the weaved outer "skin" is quite nice.

but has anyone tried the heavy duty gig bag??? is it as nice? and does anyone know who makes the MTD cases?

The Zero-G is made by TKL. The bags are nice as well. I believe the ones he's using now are the same as the ones that F-bass is using if you are familiar with those.

I've got both, and they're equally fabulous. However, I'm not as thrilled about the fit of the hard shell on my Heir with a Comfort Strapptm. It goes in snugly, but struggles to accomodate the strap. I tend to use the bag more, but then I don't gig, just run to lessons occasionally.

But the level of quality is what you would expect from Mike.
