  1. This is a beautiful specimen of an MTD 535-21. Serial number 1800012709, from 2009. 1800th one of the MTD series. Alder body, Bloodwood top and an Ebony fingerboard. If you are looking at this, you probably already know what these are like. Unbelievable tone, great playability, and amazing balance.

It does have a mark on the headstock which is shown, and a small nick which you can see in the same picture. The mark is smooth, and you can't feel anything is you run your finger over it. The nick you can feel, but its not bad. There is an indent in the lower curve on the under side of the body, but you can't see it and does not detract from the beautiful top. Neck is straight and the frets are in great shape.

So why sell? I traded a Fodera for this 2 months ago and also purchased a different 535. Wife will only go so far with basses in the house, and 2 of the same brand and style doesn't fly.

Comes with an MTD form fitting case that is light weight but very protective. $2900.00 shipped in continental US.
