i always played bass with the maximum clean sound possible, but now i'm searching a good effect pedal, i wonder, do you ever tried the zoom BFX708, or any other one?

There are a few threads on this already. I've contributed to most of them, since I have owned a bfx 708 for a year.

I don't think you'll get too much response to your thread since it's been covered already in previous posts.

I suggest that you use the search feature on "708". You'll be able to read all the previous posts. Some are very detailed.

The short story...if you buy a new one for about $130, you have a decent pedal with a lot of different effects, each of which can be edited and tweaked. The sound quality, however, is inferior to what you would get if you bought individual pedals for each effect (Boss, EBS, EH, etc.). Although the 708 is OK for live gigs, it's probably not good enough for a quality studio session.
  3. Korg AX1B is the best imho

    costs about 120 dollar
