OK, I'm having problems posting new threads at home so, for the time being, I'm going to post all my new topics in this thread and a couple others like it. Moderators, please cut me a little slack in this trying and disturbing time.

That would make for an interesting sig line. ;)

But I, for one, will cut Munji as much slack as he desires, and I say let's wallow around in this thread for a while! :D

  4. Didn't this happen once before when you overloaded your computer with internet porn?:D :D ;) Clear that history file and auto complete every night before you shut down!!!

So anyway, back on topic for a second. I sent my WT-800 back to Eden last week to have it bored, stroked, ported and relieved. I'm also having it nosed and decked, chopped and channeled. (If you're under 50 or gay, you haven't understood a word I've said so far, but that's OK.) When it comes back, it'll be a WT-800B.

I called Eden today, and the woman said it's about a two-week turnaround. She was actually a little apologetic about it. So I'll interpret that to mean two months and hope it's here by, say, the middle of May.

My new Tuxedo Bass should be here from Roger's shop by then, so we'll see if the two like each other.

It has something to do with potatoes.

Or car seats. I forget which.

    Minivan cool.

  13. Just curious as to why you did this. In my comparison of the 800 and 800(b) bridged into 8ohms, I heard no difference at all (I think there is an 80 watt 'improvement' in the (b) at 8ohms versus the original). The only difference between the original and the (b) that I noticed is the ability to run bridged into 4ohms? While that's nice, doesn't seem worth the money to upgrade, especially when the new ones are selling at huge discounts at the moment.

Again, just curious.... I'm sure there's more to it.

So what does this "coolness" add up to? I've always been aggrevated that I couldn't (shouldn't?) run my 800 into a pair of little Berg 112's.

(NOTE: you can PM me if this a special "buddy-buddy" thing since you've been such a long time user and advocate.:) )
