    Dear Colleagues,

I am looking for the music/text of a piece I saw at SMU/Meadows School of the Arts in the early 80's for an actress and a double bass player. It is a "conversation" between two lovers, the woman and the double bass.( I know, it's great!)

Desperate to find the composer, the music, anything that could lead me back to this very inspiring piece.

  2. To ask the obvious - have you contacted the school?

    Don,

Thanks for asking-- yes, but not thoroughly yet-- no listing of programs on the web, and voice mail box options were unclear about who to contact....

That's the name of the piece. But I don't know where to buy it.

  5. Doing a Yahoo search, I found that the composer is Eugene Kurtz, and that it was first performed in Australia by Max McBride!!!!
