Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5 H 30th Anniversary Edition Highly figured flame maple neck Translucent Buttercream I recently acquired this beautiful bass when looking to add a 5-string to my rack full of 4-strings. It is truly spectacular. Unfortunately, I have to let it go. I've just placed an order for a custom upright bass build from Upton Bass in Mystic, CT and I'm definitely gonna need the cash (yikes!). To move things along, I have dropped the price to $2350.00 although I am open to reasonable offers. This is the prettiest EBMM SR5 I've ever seen. The neck is the most highly figured flame maple I've ever seen. The tone growls. It feels good on a strap (no neck dive). This one is a player, for sure. Mint condition. Looks almost brand new! The previous owner kept it in-home and took very nice care of it. Newly strung and setup with comfortably low action. Continental US Shipping only No trades please Thanks for looking. ________________________________ Heres the specs: Music Man 30th Anniversary StingRay 5 H (2017) Transparent Buttercream Finish High Gloss Polyester Finish Ash Body Highly Figured Roasted Flame Maple Neck - Gunstock Oil and Hand-Rubbed Special Wax Blend Finish Highly Figured Roasted Flame Maple Fretboard w/ White Binding 11" Radius Single Music Man Humbucker Pickup 3 Band Active Preamp 3-Way Pickup Selector: Series / Single-Coil / Parallel Volume, High, Mid, Low Controls Scale Length 34" 1 3/4" Nut Width 22 Stainless Steel Frets - High Profile, Wide Red Tortoise Shell Pickguard Schaller BM Tuners with Tapered Posts 6 Bolt Neck Plate Graphite acrylic resin coated body cavity and chrome plated brass control cover Music Man 30th Anniversary Hard Shell Case Serial #: C02722 Instrument Weight: 10.4 lbs. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
Oh man, I drooled over this when you posted your NBD thread. A shame to see it go so fast but ... GAS ... I understand. Musicman's roasted necks are just spectacular.
Also surprised to see that up for sale so soon after you NBD. If I didn't already have the SR5 of my dreams, I would be all over this. Those necks are so nice, I have the fretless version of that neck (minus the binding) on my BFR Stingray. GLWTS
Yeah, it is fast. Such a beautiful bass. But my deposit is in on that Upton. So it’s got to go. (I literally just told my wife last week how happy I was with all my basses... famous last words. SMH!)
