Any Music Man owners out there? The Sterling to be more specific. I would really appreciate some measurements so I can get my pickup in the right place.

Lets say measure from the 21st fret to the edge of the route. And again from the center of the E string saddle to the other side of the route. This would save me alot of guesswork.

Or Does anyone know how to place pickups. I know it has something to do with how the strings vibrate, but that is as much as I know.

Sorry, bizzaro, I don't have answers, just a tiny bit of advice on measuring.
In my experiance, it's best to keep one zero point for the entire guitar. And the best I've tried is:
x=0 at the nut front (front=surface facing the bridge)
y=0 at the center line of the fingerboard
z=0 at the top surface of the fingerboard at the nut front

Measuring everything from there keeps all the errors from adding up.
