SOLD Music Man Stingray Classic V 2010 Mint Green

Absolutely flawless, as-new condition on this one. Original owner put in a Nordstrand pickup, and having played/sold these basses before, to my ears it gives it a warmer, more mid-forward sound with less of the classic stingray midrange scoop. $200+ value there.

Original pickup with white-pickup cover included, as is the OHSC and most of the case candy.

Really dig this bass tonally but am realizing that I'm too used to 18-19MM spacing. Got this bass on a gig and it kind of threw me off. Otherwise, absolutely slamming instrument. Phenomenal B string clarity, killer slap tone and none of the weird uneven notes on the D/G string that I sometimes find on Musicmans.

I'm pretty 'blessed' in the bass department (Sadowsky NYC PJ5/NYC Modern Fretless 5/Metro Will Lee 5) and this bass is every bit as good as far as fit/finish/ease of playing. Really impressed.

One thing for the weight-conscious: I need to weigh this sucker for accuracy, but it's every bit of 10 lbs on the strap. Sounds like it weighs.

 

Can’t believe I didn’t mention this but this bass possesses the power to turn you into a Bernard Edwards disciple. Especially if you put flat wounds on it.
