    Thanks for the download....very much appreciated.

    I have a question if anyone is still looking at this thread and it may be that I don't know anything or it could be a typo. The table on Page 4 (below) shows one step up from the root being M2, or Major 2nd. I thought it would be a minor 2nd being one note down from the 2. It appears the same for the 6 where I thought it should be a minor 6 (m6) but it is shown as a M6. Can someone clear this up for me please.

    I appreciate the time you took to do this. I have started one book series and two websites and always wind up confused.

    I've been playing guitar since I was a kid in the late 70s and bass for ten years and just started trying to learn theory and jazz last Winter on guitar. Started again this Winter on bass.

    I'm going to just chew on this PDF for a while till things clear up more.
