Musician's Friend offers their own brand of strings; Premium 4 & 5s. At $9 a pop, the price is hard to resist. However, are these strings any good at all? Who actually makes them? Help, anyone?

Wow, no one has experimented with these strings? Well, I guess I can risk $10 and find out myself but if anyone has a clue, give me a holler. Thanks!

I haven't used them. I WOULD use them, but I can get promotional strings at a local store in my gauge for ten bucks and not have to pay shipping.

When it comes to nickelwounds, I've tryed six or eight different budget brand and name brand strings and they are all the same. They are all good, so don't pay a premium for nickel roundwounds. Get the MF strings, I'm sure you'll like them.
