Hey all I don't really know the forums too well or where to ask this, but I bought a Warwick rockbass from musiciansfriend and I was curious if the bass would include strings? I understand some setup will be necessary "out of the box". Thanks in advance for any input

Usually they don't come with pickups though...

If it's a bolt on neck, the body and neck will be shipped separately so you'll have to put them together when they arrive. It should come with the screws, but no strings of course.

That is just wrong lowend. :p:p

  6. They only ship them with strings if you check that option on the checkout page. I certainly hope you remembered to click that box!

I ordered a bass head from there once and it didn't come with speakers... It was a frustrating experience.

Nevermind the trolls, it hasn't been feeding day in a while.

Your bass will arrive assembled with strings fitted.

They actually just provide you with the raw body/neck.

You'll have to install all the hardware (tuners, bridge, etc.), finish the body yourself, and wire the pickups.

It's all part of the Warwick experience. Have fun!

I don't use calendars, I am a stay at home, seven day a week parent.

It could still be February for all I care.

You must be fun at parties, huh?

Loosen up a bit; everything was meant in jest...it's April Fool's Day for God's sake.

To the OP: Rest assured, your bass will have strings.

You will get a block of steel and nickel. The process of drawing out the wire and winding the strings is up to you:D

I ordered a bass once and didn't check all the options I wanted and all I got was a small box with strap buttons.

Just don't check the "custom bass" box... It's not what you think
