Musicman Color question

    What color would you say this is? To me, it looks different from the Black Cherry burst that is currently offered.

    Looks like some kind of pink/purple burst. Never seen it. If you post your serial number over on the music man bass forum, you can find out the bday and what the color is.

    Not mine, its used and listed online, just curious about the color and if they still offered it...

    It is Black Cherry Burst, but just shot with wonky lighting in the room.

    If it sparkles it's Burnt Apple, if not it's Black Cherry Burst. That looks a lot like Burnt Apple, but I can't really see the fleck in the paint from the picture. Burnt Apple was discontinued quite some time ago.

    +1 to cherry burst under strange lighting/camera not white balanced.

    Here's a comparison:

    Burnt Apple

    Black Cherry Burst

    You'll notice black cherry burst is a darker/warmer color. That's why I saw the picture you posted more closely resembles burnt apple.

    Burnt Apple has tons of obvious sparkle and is not a transparent finish. i am pretty certain the image posted bu the OP is Black Cherry burst but not taken in the best light. I have a Black Cherry SR4 and its tough to photograph.
