Hi all, I've been offered a bass locally (well further up country, but local enough) for a trade, but thought I might get some opinions on it first. It's a Musicman Reflex 5HH, pearl white with rosewood. EB-wise I've mostly played stringrays, sterlings and a few bongo's, but never played a reflex.. I have however played a big al instore, and I can see the electronic setup is very similar. My q is not so much on the eq, but more the balance of the fiver's.. especially given the reflex is a singlecut compared to say a SR5. Does any one have any experience/own one? are there any 'extra reach' issues normally associated with tele style or lp basses? any neck dive?

And speaking of the neck, how does it fit when compared to a SR5 or the bongo 5 necks? especially given I like a wide flat neck, anything from 18-19 is my bag, but it would be nice to know. I'd really like some opinions, because I am taken by the eq options, I love the fact you can go from a range of passive and active options, and the 18 volt headroom and 4 band is similar to a bongo.. but without the goofy looks (sorry bongo owners) And like I said I'm not normally a singlecut guy, everything I have played has had that longer top horn, so I'm on the fence til I get some feedback.

any help here would be cool :)
