    1. Selling my rare USA Musicman SUB5 with active 9v pre-amp, I have a G&L L2500 that im keeping so i'm sacrificing my SUB5 I also love my black SUB so I'm keeping it.     How close is it in tone to a full on Stingray? Frankly, I'm a bit confused about all the brands. Was recently in GC and played a new SUB, a SLO, and a Ray34. SUB was muddy, SLO was better, Ray34 really popped (and is the tone I like).

    These are the USA made SUBs not the current imports check out the SUB club here on TB

    A lot of bass for the money here folks, USA-made at the SLO plant, Stingray 2-band preamp, alnico pickup wired in parallel, these sound great.
