Musicman Sterling

    I've been checking out a Buttercream special ed. sterling,Looks and plays wonderfully,does anybody know if the special eds. are ash or basswood. thanks

    Dave LaRue has one. I played it on a demo he helped me record. It rocks and rocks hard. He uses Bongos now, but he used that Special Edition Sterling (actually his is a custom model built before they came out with the special editions) for years.

    I got my BC Sterling back in March from Bass Central. That has to be the coolest color ever! Too bad I don't play it...yet!If the SR5's weren't so heavy,I'd get one of those in BC too! The case they come in is really nice too. Snatch one up when you can.
