Looking for $900 or best offer, including shipping CONUS. Black with rosewood fretboard. 1988-'89 based on serial #. Lots of dings & scratches, too many to mention. A real player. Older style 4 bolt neck, metal battery cover. More pictures: Pictures by danielmcc - Photobucket Paint is worn away on back. Looks ok from the front from a distance, but previous owner filled in a few paint chips using a black marker pen(?) on the front lower horn. Highly figured birds-eye maple neck. Couple of dings on back of neck near the 3rd fret. I don't have a scale, but estimate it weighs 9-10lbs. I have a '72 P-bass boat anchor, & this is nowhere near that weight. Looks like original foam mutes, I never changed them out. Lots of honest player wear. Sounds incredible, which is the reason it got so much play. Includes case, which is not in good shape (torn tolex, hinges giving out). This is my 1st post selling on TB, but I have 100% feedback on ebay.
One last price reduction before I end up trying the evilbay. Obviously I'm having trouble figuring out the price on this. On one hand, it ain't pretty because of all the dings & scratches. On the other hand, it sounds phenomenal, so it was played a ton, so it's got lots of dings & scratches. eh...
Frets are in remarkably good shape, especially considering the body wear. Thanks for asking, I forgot to include the fret info previously.
