Here's one I thought I'd never sell, but I have decided at this point in my life it is more important to play them than collect them. I'm not scared to play it but unfortunately, I just don't like Stingray necks so that alone has just made it a wall piece that I occasionally pull down to play. SLO necks on my Stingray, "A" necks on my P, Jazz type necks is where it's at for me. I have only played it live once and that was when I briefly swapped necks with my SLO Stingray. I am the second owner after it made the long journey from Denmark to the US. Super rare... 1/100 in existence. This one is extra special if you are searching for a light weight Stingray. This is the lightest I have ever owned at 8.4 lbs. It does have a pea size ding on the top and another scuff/ding along with scuffs on the top edge of the headstock. None of these blems get past the clear coat and into the wood. These BFR's have an ash body, mahogany tone block, redwood top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The redwood comes from old growth stumps that are over 1000 years old. There is definitely something spiritual about playing a bass made up of wood that is over 1000 years old. Here's a few pics to get things started and point out the blems. Strap pins are now EBMM strap locks, but will include the originals. Comes with original case and BFR certificate. $2,275 shipped in the US only at this time. Paypal is cool. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
Considering trades plus cash coming my way. Maybe a Caprice. BFR, PDN, Limited Run Musicman basses (Stingrays with SLO necks, Sterlings, Big Als) Spectors with Wimbish necks. Spector Timbre Acoustic.
