Musicman Stingray/Bass-tech in london

    hi yeah,
    can anyone living in london tell me where to find a good bass-technician to repair my stingray for me?
    because the preamp's completely buggered.

    has anyone else ever had a problem with their stingray's preamp?

    also what MM-style replacement pickups d'y'all recommend? coz i might be replacing the original (sounds too "hollow" on the lows methinks).

    The bass centre in Wapping does all kinds of repairs, I'd be very surprised if they couldn't help you out.

    I have had repair work done recently by Chris at the BAss centre and he is good but very busy.

    Also try Martin Petersen at http://www.thebassgallery.com who is arguably better and probably busier but is always pleasant. Both telephone numbers are on the sites.
