MUSICMAN STINGRAY W/BASSLINES HUMBUCKING!

    IT'S ME AGAIN GUYS... WHAT IS BETTER???? A MUSICMAN STINGRAY WITH OR WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL PICKUP??? WHAT ABOUT A STINGRAY I JUST SAW WITH A SEYMOUR DUNCAN BASSLINES PICKUP??? SHOULD I BUY THAT ONE???

    As far as your question, I like the original pickups in these better than any replacement I've heard.

    +1 for original. Some guys like putting in replacements but I dont think it gets much better than the stock one.

    I like original. And caps, and massive amounts of ???? comes across as screaming.

    I find most prefer the original electronics and pickup. One can usually buy replacement pickup and preamp, sell the original and make a profit. Are you looking at the one that's listed for $650 with those mods?

    Aren't SUB pickups pretty much the same as 'Ray pickups though?
