Im thinking of buying one after my birthday in a few weeks.

It's always been a dream to own a Musicmann Stingray, this may be my first step up the Musicmann ladder :D what's people's thoughts?

My current bass is a Yamaha RBX 5-string thats EADGC strung and I fancy a change. Worth it?

It seems to me that for what you will spend on the SUB, you may as well just accumulate a little more cash and buy a used Stingray through E-Bay. Subs are my least favorite MM/EB, and I am always afraid I will cut myself on that metal pickguard. I say "pass." Next!

    I like the sound...

But the finish and pick gaurd... bleh.

Can't we just get a basic black on white without that crap that looks like a piece of metal?
