Thanks for posting pics for the EBS stuff. Was hoping for a big all tube head, but the Fafner II looks interesting. Specifically the Edge control and the Blend button. Could be very dangerous indeed.

  5. Thanks man. Great pics :)

That EBS all-tube head looks lethal to my wallet.

Thanks! Lot's of nice stuff, and the vibe doesn't look as crazy as NAMM! It's good to see that the F1 will still be in the Markbass line-up.

    No problem :smug:
It was a lot of fun yesterday ... the only bad thing about it is that I feel a funny case of 8x10" cabinet GAS coming up. Can it be cured?

The Fafner II is great and the T90 sounds killer. I was talking to the guys about the output stage (2x 6550s) and they are already working on another version with 4 ouput tubes which should raise the output nearer 200w...

    Good times :)

Thanks for that info! A 200w EBS all-tube head would be sweet! But I'm lookin at the Fafner II picture, and was able to make out on the sign above it that it's a 2-channel amp. So is this finally a footswitchable EBS amp?

I looked at the back, and if I recall... yes. Footswitchable via latched pedal!

The full spec was as follows -

    EBS Fafner II Extreme Edition
    COMING DEC-09/JAN-10
    750 W RMS Tube hybrid (610w @ 4 Ohms)
    2-channel bass head
    Dual balanced output

PS the previous silver "wings" on the side of the Fafner have been replaced with black ones on the II.

  12. YES! Its true! a 1000W Bass Terror! Thatlll go nice with my Orange collection. Now I want the 8x10 as well!

  13. Awesome pictures!

Trace Elliot always have some all green basses at shows, and now being owned by Peavey, makes sense. I'd buy one!:D

  19. I can't wait to try the new all valve EBS head!

    Thanks for the pictures.
