It's a lefty, so it will still go over $1K.

A little Bondo, some Rustoleum, made good, a perfect Ric.
  11. It doesn't look like it was cut, it looks like it fell out of the back of a truck.

Looks like somebody forgot it near where his pet bear plays.
  13. A little wood glue (okay, a lot), and some clamps. Those look salvageable, while still looking respectable.

If this was a righty I would be all over it.

I'd spend like 300 on it. As long as it sounds right, I don't care

If it was a righty and something under $300 total shipped Id take a shot at it (and if I did mesh with the axe well Id find a body template somewheres and try to fill in the gouges and at least make some attempt at putting it back something right).

And wow those other two just above look like they were dissected. Sheesh...between those two and the one this thread is about and another on I saw once on the bay, what is it with Rics and severe physical trauma to them? @_@ They seem magnets for it more so then other basses from my limited experience looking around.

A Ric for that low? I'm right-handed and I'd buy it for that much less than a pretty Ric goes for. Restore the shape with filler material, give it a custom paint job, restring it for a righty, and make sure the strap points are in appropriate places, and you'd have a one-off custom Ric. Heck yes. Shame I'm a broke college student.

Could be one of two things, Either it's the Vespa Woman's bass from "FL-CL" her's was a blue leftie, but I'd have to see the back to make sure it's a 2-stroke, or someone really pissed off the wife!

Those do look like cuts. But if it was a really pissed off wife I would think there would be a complete cut right through the neck. That looks more like a drug induced/black-out moment.
